Broom development consultancy Ltd was established in 1995 by Ian Broom in the UK, utilising his wealth of skills in financial sales management and people development he created an innovative company that quickly received international recognition for its expertise and professionalism.
BDC international subsequently evolved into an international operation in 2005, with offices in Dubai and the UK. Now with a full team of highly skilled, qualified, motivated and focused consultants providing expertise to our clientele.
We are proud of our origins and achievements, by constantly striving to ensure that our clients receive memorable practical learning experiences.

He specialises in leadership, coaching, sales, customer service, management development, as well the soft skills of communication and attitudinal development.
He has a reputation for an infectious and inspirational attitude that challenges and brings out the very best of people. A very keen sports man and works very hard at maintaining a good level of fitness that fuels his belief of men sana in corpore sano, “A healthy mind in a healthy body.”
Phil Delaney – Biography
Phil has 30 years experience working with some of the UK’s leading financial services organisations and has held Senior Leadership and Consultancy roles both in the UK and Middle East.
He specialises in management development, performance coaching and sales process engineering. A key attribute is helping organisations build long term profitable relationships with their clients, retail and business. With an absolute passion for developing people and businesses, Phil has a reputation for identifying and maximising on the talent and skills held within a team and utilising this to maximum effect.
His key note speeches are designed to make even the most experienced professionals, relationship managers and business development executives examine their approach to clients. In addition to holding certificates in Financial Planning, Regulated Supervision, Coaching and Training, Phil is also an accredited Life Coach.
Abi White – Biography
Leadership development specialist with 10 years’ experience in talent assessment and development.
She has an extensive background in training design and delivery, talent identification and assessment and is also a qualified Coach.
Abi has worked with a wide variety of large international organisations as a development consultant with much success. Previous to her consultancy work Abi was the lead in setting up and heading large learning and development functions in Organisations in the Middle East and global organisations.
